Our online purchasing platform NetXpress is used by 70 per cent of customers. It ensures you can order any of our business essentials 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most importantly, it allows you to compare and manage your monthly spend and activity, from viewing stock on hand to cost centre and category spend analysis.
NetXpress gives you desktop access to thousands of products so you can instantly view pricing and product availability online. After choosing products, you can transmit your order in seconds to our central despatch computer system and receive goods in most major cities the next business day.
NetXpress allows you to control access and set authority levels based on secure individual user logins. You can restrict product selection and set approvals associated by order, item value or a specified budget. You can also capture expenditure by cost centre or department and control purchasing.
Ordering via NetXpress removes the hassle of repetitive processes by allowing you to set up frequent order templates to use again and again. We can set up hierarchies and provide an authorisation process to stop ‘maverick’ ordering and limit expenditure on products that are non compliant.
Full Integration
Another option is to integrate your company’s procurement system directly with Corporate Express.
Corporate Express has implemented an integration tool known as webMethods that allows us to integrate with any system based on industry standards like SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Ariba, Commerce One and Mincom.
Orders can then be created in your own application, approved through your internal workflow and then sent to Corporate Express’ webMethods server. Documents supported include punchout catalogue, purchase order, purchase order acknowledgement, invoice, credit note and EFT payments.
