Corporate Express becomes first managed service provider to implement assyst APAC

MEDIA RELEASE January 17 2010

Corporate Express today announced that it will be the first Managed Services Provider in the Asia Pacific region to fully implement assyst, a world-leading IT service management solution developed by Axios Systems.

Corporate Express already depends on assyst for its own internal IT support desk, supporting more than 2000 end users in Australia.  This implementation sees assyst being used as the core service desk tool for its Managed Services division.

Calvin Bradshaw, National Manager for Managed Services says: “To provide a cost effective service desk that delivers consistently high levels of service requires the best available tools -- assyst is now integrated with other management tools and combined with our mature and refined IT processes to underpin Corporate Express’ Smart Service Desk model.”

“The efficiency of assyst, combined with the automation, the workflows, and the integration with the other support tools is enabling us to focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers at a lower cost.” says Bradshaw.

With features such as an online Service Catalogue, and a dedicated and customised Self Service portal supported by knowledge management, the ‘Smart Service Desk’ solution offered by Corporate Express provides a cost-effective way to meet the demands of businesses.

David Lloyd, Sales Manager for Asia Pacific at Axios Systems says: “It is very exciting for Axios Systems to have Corporate Express as our first Managed Services Provider (MSP) using the assyst ITSM solution in the ANZ region.  We look forward to continuing to work with the Managed Services team and to be a key technology partner for the world class ‘Smart Service Desk’ they are delivering to customers.”

Corporate Express offers a full suite of outsourced IT solutions supported by assyst.  In addition, as an authorised Axios Systems Alliance Partner, Corporate Express also offers consulting, implementations and hosted instances of assyst to enable other organisations to also benefit from this world-class service management solution.
